According to IBM, the number of annual job openings in data & analytics in the U.S. will increase by 364,000 to 2,720,000. Additionally, the demand for data scientists and data engineers is expected to grow by 39%.

Currently, only 20% of data scientists are women. Women in Data believes there is a large opportunity to help businesses and the public sector tap into this untouched market for analytical talent by supporting the other 50% of the population.
